the story behind the story

In a world filled with constant noise and distractions, it’s only getting more difficult to quiet our minds and hearts. Originally penned in 2008 when my first granddaughter was six years old, getting this story into print and ready for YOU has been quite a journey. Finding the right artist to bring my story to life was crucial and Laura Bullock was invaluable in her work on this project. I’m proud to offer this wonderful resource to parents and children alike. We ALL need to pause, to turn off the noise, and to listen to the wisdom that is found in quiet moments. May you and the beloved children in your life learn the secrets that are found in silence!
